Summer's tears -oil on canvas 60 x 45 cm
Early summer is my very favourite time of year as my garden awakens from a harsh, barren winter to a profusion of glorious colours. A sight that never fails to lift my spirits and inspire is this beautiful rambler adorning a rustic shed in a swathe of pink perfumery. Can you smell the roses?
I just popped along to thank you for following my blog. I'm amazed by what I found here! Gosh, what a talent you have! I am still experimenting with different styles at the moment and haven't settled on any one style yet, as you will tell on my blog. Do you ever exhibit? Do you have a favourite medium?
ReplyDeleteThankyou Sandra for your kind remarks. Yes I do exhibit but to date have only done one solo show as I find it difficult to contain myself to just one medium long enough to build a body of work -call me a free spirit. My favourite medium is the one I happen to be working in at the time. I find each medium has its own properties which captivate me and lend it to different subjects and moods.
ReplyDeleteAnna, I, too, just happened upon your blog (hi Sandra :) and love your work! I am off to savor your previous posts with the sweet smell of the roses still lingering.
ReplyDeleteWelcome Sandy to my blog and thanks for following.
